The process is identifications of all risk, compiling a risk register, assessing the risks, mitigating them to reduce or remove them and then monitoring, evaluating and reporting.
This is then incorporated into the long-term strategic plan and becomes often referred to document. The larger the organisation the more complex the risk managing will be.
